Volunteer Opportunities

Please fill in the form below to volunteer. We welcome help both on the night and on the organizing committee. Volunteers can get priority seating at the dinner.

Volunteer on the Night

On the night of the Boat Race Dinner we need the following:

Greeters. To staff the welcome tables for both Oxford and Cambridge, to hand out badges, and to welcome guests.
Table Checkers. To check the layout of the tables and ensure the menus are in place.
Recruiter. To recruit volunteers for the following year's Boat Race Dinner organizing committee.
Photographers. To take photographs during the reception, during the dinner, and during the speaker's remarks and Q&A.

Join the Organizing Committee

Get to know some of the organizers before the dinner by joining the organizing committee. It meets about three times before the dinner. These are some of the roles that are currently vacant:

Webmaster. Keep this website fresh and updated.
Oxford Representative. Help the Oxford Co-Chair.
Speaker Liaison. Meet, greet and host the speaker on the night.
Assistant Treasurer. Help the Treasurer.
General Committee Member. Suggest speakers, help where needed.

Oxford and Cambridge Events is a team of alumni volunteers that arranges the annual Oxford and Cambridge Boat Race Dinner in San Francisco.

Data provided during registration will be used for alumni purposes by the San Francisco Boat Race Dinner Committee and the Universities of Oxford and Cambridge. See our Data Protection Statement for details.
